Important Notes to the UN GHS Purple Book

The UN GHS Purple Book is not a regulation and it is not legally binding in any country. Therefore, countries adopting GHS have to take basic GHS elements from the Purple Book and issue their own regulations or standards to implement GHS. During this process, each country/region may have set extra requirements on chemical classification and labelling.
